Derek Ouyang is a Research Manager in Stanford’s Regulation, Evaluation and Governance Lab (RegLab). With RegLab, Derek has been spearheading Covid-19 response work with the Santa Clara County Public Health Department.  He graduated from Stanford University in 2013 with dual Bachelor’s degrees in Civil and Environmental Engineering and Architectural Design, and in 2015 with a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering and Geomechanics. He is also Executive Director of City Systems. Derek is the lead analyst on enhancements to the American Family Cohort data to make it more usable for research on disparities in population health.
