Nathaniel Hendrix is a data scientist at the American Board of Family Medicine and the Center for Professionalism & Value in Health Care. His research focuses on the integration of information technology into primary care and the use of causal inference and natural language processing on electronic health record data. His recent work with NIH, CDC, and ONC has examined topics ranging from estimating the impact of prior infection on COVID-19 severity, identifying patient cohorts through natural language processing, and assessing physician experiences with different electronic health record platforms.
